If you have any historical information about Summit County that you want to share with others, please write to us, send an email or call and leave a message.  

Artifacts

If you have any artifacts related to Summit County history that you would like to donate or loan to the Summit Historical Society, please contact us.  We have a team of volunteer archivists who research, catalog and preserve artifacts including many photographs and documents, furniture, mining equipment and even a restored 70 year-old fire engine. Many of the artifacts are on display in museums and public buildings in Summit County

Cash Donations

The Summit Historical Society is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. We graciously accept cash contributions for publishing, preservation projects and operating costs. If you have a specific project that you would like to designate for your donation, please make a specification and we will ensure that your donation is applied to the specific item that you designate. Please contact us if you have a question about charitable donations or mail your check to The Summit Historical Society.
